Orchard Fruits Buttermilk Soap
In aromatherapy Lemongrass is used extensively in the treatment of skin, as the oil is anti-bacterial, antiseptic and healing. The scent is also said to soothe the mental stresses which can aggravate the skin. I've added Lemon essential oil from the skin of the fruit, for extra vitamin C and a citrus scent. This is one of my most popular soaps.
 
Lavender & Rosemary Buttermilk Soap
Rosemary literally means dew of the sea and grows all around the North Norfolk coast. This strongly aromatic oil, is valued for being a natural disinfectant and well known as a delicious herb.  I've combined it with Lavender another coastal loving plant, to create a fresh and clean scent.
 
Rose & Chamomile Buttermilk Soap
Rose essential oil is distilled from the leaves and flowers of the plant. Throughout the centuries, it has been used for skin care and is loved for it's beautiful scent. In aromatherapy, it is used to balance both the mind and body, normalising dry and greasy skin. When added to a hot bath its floral aromas are released. I have added rose petals, as they are reputed to be wonderful for wrinkles.
 
Seaweed & Seasalt Buttermilk Soap
Sea Salt is literally created from evaporated sea water. It is a source of 21 essential and 30 accessory minerals. Its use for medicine, food and skin care is as old as human history. It helps to regulate the water content of the body and can control the growth of bacteria and fungal infections. I’ve bended it with nourishing oils to moisturise and soothe the skin, making it create for spots and acne.
 
These are not vegan friendly recipes as they contain buttermilk.
